In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
THE HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE OF THE QUR’AN THE SEERAH OF
RASULULLAH (S)
1. Allah first designed and created man with 3 strong urges and 0ne freewill (Saad 38:75)
2. He then created the universe for man and harnessed it for his use and satisfaction of his urges. [Ref: Baqarah; 29; Luqman: 20. Al-Jathia: 13].
3. God then created all the “Arwah” of Adam’s progenies till Qayamah and asked them, “Am I not your Lord”: All confirmed, “Definitely You are” [Ref: Al-Airaf: 172]
4. Adam was kept in Jannah till the upper level of earth became habitable for the period known to Allah alone.
5. Allah then told to Angels: “I am about to place a vicegerent (His Khalifah) on earth”. All bowed but Iblees refused. Iblees enticed Adam & Eve to taste the “Forbidden Tree”. In consequence was ejected from Jannah [Ref: Al- Baqarah: 30 + Ref. for Subsequent Dialogue: Verses Al-Baqarah: 31 -37; Al-Airaf Verse 11 to 25 & Taha 123 - 126].
5. Then Adam and his wife Eve
were descended to earth with Guidance and assurance or Commitment from the Lord that He will go
on sending Guidance through His appointed Messengers to him/his progenies as
and when it is needed [Ref:
Al-Baqarah: 38 – 39].
6. As per His Commitment, Allah constantly continued to send the Guidance through His appointed Messengers in a chain [one after the other] as and when man distorted it, mutilated it, manipulated it, made innovations in it or lost it in toto. Thus, mankind was never without Guidance.
7. Man has constantly been misusing his Freewill for the satisfaction of his urges the way he liked and filled the earth with disorder, bloodshed, exploitation, coined different ISMS and Systems of life, ignored God’s given Guidance and opposed the Prophet of time and thus, practiced a secular system of life parrell to ever presence Divine Guidance – right from the start of human life on this earth.
8. At the end of six century AD man has no Divine Guidance and no Prophet came after Jesus [pbuh]. Humanity was crying and lamenting form different ailments, Zulm and oppressions. There was no peace, no security, no human rights and Al-Adl wu Qist was nowhere traceable on the surface of the earth. Humanity was in waiting for Guidance and the Messenger of God and it came in the shape of the Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad (S) in the year 572 AD as the last Messenger of God and the latest updated Guidance as no Messenger was to come after him (S) till Qayamah.
9. Islam showered its blessings
through the Qur’an and the life pattern of Rasulullah (S) for centuries
together. Then Muslims too left the Guidance behind and became traditional
Muslims. Since then centuries have passed again and we couldn’t resurrect our
fate in terms of the Qur’an and the Seerah of Rasulullah (S) and vacated the
earth to be ruled by the secular nations of Europe and
10. In sequence, ignominy became
our fate and the condition of human society is the worst. Human society needs a
Messenger and fresh Divine Guidance from the Creator and Sustainer but none is
to come now. Muslims, the followers of Rasulullah (S) will have to do this job
and call the humanity and their Muslim brothers back to the fold of Allah (SWT)
and re-establish the Islamic System in terms of Verse # 41 of Surah Al-Hajj:
“Those who, if We give them power on earth, (they) establish Salah and
pay Zakah and enjoin Ma’roof and forbid (remove) Munkar and the end result is
in the hands of Allah”
Muslims have to do this assignment to raise their position and help in uplifting the condition of humanity at large.
11. Now in this perspective we have to study the Qur’an and the Seerah of Rasulullah (S) as under – Man is the Center of this universe as it was created for man who is thus the Center Point of this universe. God wanted to see how man lives, acts and behaves on this earth: “Leyabluwakum Ayyukum Ahsanu Amalun” [That He may try you, which of you is best in conduct: Al Mulk: 2]; “Leyabluwakum fi ma A’ta’kum” – “that He may try you (by the test of) that which He has given you”.
* Islam is for all times - for our time and for all times to come;
* We have to see how Rasulullah(S) applied it to his (S) time and
* How can we apply it now today to our time;
* How will it be applied to the forthcoming future till Qayamah.
That is our
destiny and we have to live by that.
12. For Understanding the Qur’an, the following Guide lines:
i. Always begging from Allah; to reach its Fathom; its secrecies and its depth of understanding;
ii. Asking Allah: Determination to change our life accordingly to meet the demands of the Qur’an;
iii. Developing the habit of “Tadabbur” in the Qur’an in a continuous process till it is crystal clear.

MATTERS TO THINK & DEEDS TO
PERFORM
In the context of the existing world
when Islam is nowhere found established in its totality though there are 57
Muslim countries and the secular world is united “Globally” and determined not
to tolerate its emergence anywhere as a “political entity”, what Muslims should
do to encounter this evil design of the Batil forces of our contemporary world?
* Should Muslims keep silence, sit
hands-crossed and leave the world for the evil forces to ravage the human abode
for their nefarious ends and fill the earth with greed, injustices and
exploitations all around? OR
* “Arise and warn and glorify thy
Lord”, meet the demands and urgencies of their Iman, call the humanity to
the fold of the Creator and Sustainer”, organize themselves through this
process “Globally” as “Ummatun Wasatan” and deliver justice, peace and security
to the human society. It is dying for it.
To this effect, I have humbly prepared the following Questionnaire for each and
every Muslim and Muslimah, young and old, around the world to think over it as
how to fulfill and accomplish these onerous responsibilities that our centuries
old inaction, indolence, lethargies and irresponsibbehavior of neglect have now
thrust upon us to resolve as an Ummah or be perished for good.
THE QUESTIONNAIRE

1. Allah’s Deen is nowhere found established in its
totality anywhere in this world though there are 57 Muslim countries? Why not?
What are the causes? Can we remove them?
2. Who is responsible for that mishap?
3. Do you find Justice and Peace prevailing anywhere in
the human society? If not, who is responsible for that? Is it not the prime responsibility of
Muslims?
4. Can Muslim do it without bringing their own house
in order as Priority # I of their life, the only way to emerge as “Ummatun
Wasatan” through this process?
5. What is their Priority # 2 following the Priority
No I as entrusted by Allah through Verse # 25 of Surah Al-Hadeed? Can we
undertake # II without accomplishing the demands of # I? Will it not be an
illogical sequence and ineffective?
6. Will struggling hard through this process not lead
the Muslim Ummah towards introducing and spreading the Deen of Allah in every
nook and corner of this world, thereby establishing the authority of our Lord -
the Creator and Sustainer, on self, family and the society in which we live?
7. Will you not, then, commit yourself to struggle for
this life-long pursuit on your own accord to earn the pleasure of your Lord in
both the worlds?
